Eight-step connection check

BOMBANANA lobby not working

Follow the list in order. Stop as soon as one change makes all three players visible in the same room.

01

Match the build

Exit BOMBANANA on all three machines. Finish Steam updates and restart the client before relaunching.

02

Create a fresh room

Do not reuse an old code. Have one player host, then try the new room code once.

03

Try the global browser

The full release includes both a global lobby browser and room codes. If one path fails, test the other.

04

Change the host

Let a different teammate create the lobby. A successful host change points to the original host or network path.

05

Remove route modifiers

Temporarily pause VPN, proxy, traffic filter, or gaming accelerator for one controlled test.

06

Check the firewall prompt

Allow Steam and the game on the active trusted network profile. Reopen the game after changing a rule.

07

Test another network

Connect the failing player through a phone hotspot for one join attempt. This separates the device from the home router.

08

Check Steam service state

If every player suddenly fails, inspect Steam service status and retry later rather than rebuilding local settings.

Launch context: A June hotfix addressed an earlier lobby networking issue. Current full-release failures still need the layered checks above because they can come from a different cause.
